Senegal is a country in West Africa with a population of about 14 million and economic growth of over 3% annually. Underdeveloped sectors include but are not limited to:

• Natural resources such as phosphates and iron ore 
  
• Large agricultural land
• Imports from United States of mineral fuel, machinery, cars and fertilizers
• Exports to United States  of seafood, fish and feathers
