Cote d’Ivoire is a country in West Africa with a population of about 23 million and economic growth of over 8% annually. Underdeveloped sectors include but are not limited to:


  • Telecommunication and energy systems
  • Large agricultural land
  • Natural resources  such as petroleum, natural gas, diamonds, manganese, iron ore, cobalt, bauxite, copper, gold, nickel, tantalum, silica sand, cocoa beans, coffee, palm oil and hydropower
  • Imports from United States of machinery, cars, iron and steel products
  • Exports to United States of cocoa beans, cocoa paste, cocoa butter, rubber, wood, and palm oil
