Mali is a country in West Africa with a population of 17 million. Underdeveloped sectors include but are not limited to:


  • Telecommunication and energy systems
  • Large agricultural land
  • Natural resources such as gold, phosphates, kaolin, limestone, uranium,  gypsum and  hydropower
  • Imports from United States of machinery, cars and pharmaceutical products
  • Exports to United States of animal and vegetable fats
